Minishoots are only 30 minutes in length and always on a weekend determined in advance by me (and the state of the blooms at the time).
So if you fancy a seasonal minishoot, I can offer you 4 options – Blubells, Sunflowers, Autumn and Christmas! Please follow the links below to read more information.

Normally held around the last week of April/the first week of May. The location I use is always Micheldever Woods, just outside Winchester. Shoots available all day long but early-morning or evening timings are preferable due to sunlight.
Christmas minishoots tend to be very popular with families who want to have lovely photos taken forChristmas presents. I run these sessions at the end of November, which allows me enough time to deliver the images/prints/products to my families in time for Christmas.

Bluebell Shoots in WinchesterIt's getting to that time of year again that all photographers absolutely love - bluebell season! I love shooting families and children in the bluebells, especially the woods that I go to which just erupts around this time of year,...
The Lavender Farm I have to be honest - I wasn't sure if the lavender season was going to materialise this year, not after this heatwave that we have been experiencing for such a prolonged period. I know other farms growing extensive amounts of plants have been hit...
This was a fantastic morning spent at the Lavender Fields in Alton doing mini-shoots with several families and lots of beautiful children. The colours and scent that the lavender and wild flowers gave off were intoxicating and stunning to work with. I was absolutely...
Enjoying Bluebell Woods As a photographer just outside Winchester, I don't think I could be luckier to be based where I am when it comes to three weeks a year at the end of April / beginning of May. As far as booking shoots go, it doesn't get busier than families...
What happens if it's raining?
I will keep an eye on the weather forecasts in the days leading up to our shoot. If it looks like it’ll just been patchy rain, then I suggest we go ahead. However if it looks really horrible then I suggest we rearrange to a different date or time and keep everything crossed that the Great British Weather is on our side!
What should we wear?
I always advise my families that the most important thing in family shoots is that everybody feels comfortable. There is no point getting the children to wear their best clothes if they feel really awkward, because this will be written all over their faces.
If you really want to make the most from your shoot though, I always suggest that a similar theme of colours works brilliantly to tie you all together. There are links to Pinterest inspiration boards on each of the individual minishoot pages.
Something that I strongly advise against however, is anybody wearing any clothes with motiffs or patterns on, as all this does is draw attention away from all of the beautiful faces!
What should we do if someone is poorly?
I am a Mum, so I totally get how children can be fine one day and then come down with something the next day. All I ask is you give me as much notice as possible and then we can rearrange for another day.
