Confirmation of Sir Harold Hilliers Gardens photo shoot

Firstly can I take this opportunity to thank you for booking a shoot with Caroline Jenkins Photography at Sir Harold Hillier Gardens. You should have received confirmation of the date and time of your shoot. Please ensure that you are in reception in plenty of time for your shoot time. I will meet you there and we will walk to the shoot location together and have a chat along the way to get to know each other a little bit more.

A little bit about me and how I work…

For anybody who hasn’t heard of me before, my name is Caroline Jenkins and I set up Caroline Jenkins Photography last year after coming to the realisation that dreams only come true if you go after them and do something about them! So I left my teaching career after 13 years and have been throwing myself into this ever since. And I do not regret a single moment. Capturing special, fun and beautiful moments is what I am all about! We all know how quickly life seems to pass by, especially when children are involved, so if I can capture some moments for you to always treasure and look back on with a smile on your face, then my job will be done and I’ll be happy!

I like to run very relaxed shoots and prefer to be lead by the children and their energy, rather than dictating too much. I will happily organise and pose if that is what you want, but likewise I am happy to let you all have fun and just ‘be’ while I shoot away. It all depends on the type of photographs and experience you are after.  The more information you can provide me with in advance, the better we can tailor the shoot accordingly. Sometimes families are happy to pose and that suits them, whereas sometimes the children want to play, and in those situations I am happy to let them. I will bring a few props with me to focus them and guide them a bit if needed, as this is all about all of you enjoying yourselves!

So what happens now?

You may well have a million questions buzzing around your head now you have booked your photo shoot but may not entirely know what you have signed up to or what to expect.  I want this whole experience to be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

I have put together a range of seasonal Pinterest boards which hopefully help guide you with some clothing choices. The most important thing is that you feel happy and comfortable in what you are all wearing, but plain clothes without motifs or patterns are preferable, and a co-ordinated theme of colours works beautifully to tie everybody together. Sprint Pinterest board, Summer Pinterest board,  Autumn Pinterest board and a Winter Pinterest There is also some FAQs that hopefully you will find interesting as well as informative.

If you still have questions though, please do not hesitate to contact me as I want you and your family to arrive at your photo shoot buzzing with excitement and understanding the expectations for the hour.
