“Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole”

Roger Caras

Why?

Because dogs are part of the family too. For many people (me included) our fur babies are like our actual babies, so why wouldn’t you want beautiful photos of them?

Where?

Dogs (like us) have their favourite walks. Whether it’s somewhere they can splash around, somewhere to chase sticks or large expanses of open where they can just run to their hearts content. I’m more then happy to meet you at your favourite walk to capture your dogs at their happiest!

Who?

This is just a doggy shoot – whether you have one fur baby or a whole pack – this is a shoot focussing on them. If you want to have family shots with the dogs it might be worth looking into my family shoots which you are more than welcome to bring the dogs along too as well.

How long?

I will join you for an hours walk and play. During this time I will capture your dog in a variety of shots (depending on the location) so you have some close up ones as well some action shots. The number of close up ones depend on how good your dog is at sitting still and posing!!

It’s A Dog’s Life!

I love my dog. Before my children came along she was my baby, my pride and joy, my everything. We took her everywhere, included her in everything and spent goodness knows how many hours on the floor cuddling and playing with her. And we took a million photos of her!

Then the children came along, and our relationship changed. I still love her immensely and she’s still my fur baby, but she’s no longer my only responsibility. I have very loud and demanding little people to care for and sadly Josie is no longer my main priority. She is still awesome don’t get me wrong – she loved playing in the snow last year, loves going on long walks and loves a good old tummy rub. But I take fewer photos. And she’s getting older, slower and greyer. And much as I refuse to acknowledge it, one day she won’t be here.

So I am making a determined effort to photograph her more – to capture her personality as she jumps for a snowball or chases the hose or has a funny five when she spins around like a lunatic! I want to be able to remember her as the nutter that she is, no matter how grey she gets!

Sometimes life can be so hectic that we can forget to take a moment to appreciate what we have in our dogs. They are incredible. Always smiling, always happy to see us with a wagging tail and unbelievably important for our mental health. We are their world and they are here to be loved and celebrated!

So I am opening up my dog photography branch of my business purely for my love of dogs and wanting to be able to provide everybody with beautiful images to enjoy forever!

What do you need to know?

  • I have been a Doggy mum for 8 years and absolutely love all dogs. I am well known with all my friends and family that if I pass a dog I have to stop and say hello and have strokes! I love all breeds, sizes and shapes and would willingly sit down with them for hours making friends!
  • I totally understand that dogs, like children, have different energy levels, abilities and attention levels. I want to capture your dog at their best, so if that means all they want to do is chase a ball then that is what we will do for an hour. And if they won’t pose for me? Well I do like a challenge! Oh and I have yet to meet a dog who won’t follow instructions for a treat!!!
  • I will bring treats with me for encouragement/persuasive purposes. If your dog(s) has any dietary requirments, please let me know and I will leave the treats behind or adjust accordingly!
  • I have a lot of different dog walks up my sleeve that I have been on over the years, but likewise I am more than happy for you to take the lead and introduce me to a new walk if your dog has a particular favourite!
  • After the shoot I will deliver the images in an online gallery that is only accessible by a direct link. The images will be in colour and black & white, will be in full resolution and a download PIN will be provided.
